ARTIST & DESIGNER

LMA was a small UK-based online used and refurbished tech store. I developed most of the branding and design language for it, including the logo itself as well as various graphics and advertising material. Here are a few examples:

Born in Latvia, now based in the UK, I'm a jack of all trades - with experience in illustration, graphic and web design, animation, photography, and music production. I specialize in creative and commercial graphic design.I'm currently in the early stages of developing Pilots, my vision of a modern clothing brand inspired by vintage pilot's clothing and WWII aircraft.
I also sell hand-modified custom Casio watches at ARCH-MOD.Asides from that, I have a vocational qualification in business and I'm moving into studying for my Bachelor in marketing & management this year.

This was my 11yr old YouTube Minecraft squeaker letsplayer phase, and also when I truly discovered the joy and pride of creation. At this point in time I still had no idea what I wanted to do in life, but I quickly began to realise that it had to do with creating.

I discovered Hyun's Dojo, a high-calibre stickfigure animation community, around late 11/early 12. Something about watching stickfigures viscerally murdering each other was very appealing to my young hyperactive self. I googled "how to make stickfigure animation", found a program called Adobe Flash, and became completely obsessed with animation for the next few years, learning many of the skills I still apply to this day, particularly with motion graphics.

This time period marked a major transition for me and has led to where I am now. I slowly moved away from animation and onto digital art and graphic design. I realised that I enjoy variety and seeing things moving at a quick pace, and animation did not feel fulfilling enough as it tied me down to a single project for a long amount of time. As such, I moved into honing my digital art and graphic design skills in hopes of finding a field that will offer me greater scope, while implementing many of the skills I had already learned from my 5 years of animation.During this time period I discovered a major apprecation for creative brand identity, design, and marketing as a whole. The idea of an organization comprised of multiple people having its own collective, distinct personality that people can associate with seemed fascinating to me. Having a background in digital art, I quickly became interested in how businesses convey this personality through visual and interactive channels, such as videos, graphics, and websites.This intrigue quickly grew into enthusiasm with my first ever experience building a brand with ARCH-MOD, a passion project I started on June 2023 selling hand-customised watches. From developing the logo, graphics, website, and design language as a whole, to learning product photography and running social media accounts, I enjoyed every stage of it.My long-term goal in life is to start my own brand in a field I'm passionate about, such as horology or clothing.
